Yeahhh!!!! I’m so excited to present the first official “Friday Favorites”!!!! I have been blessed to work with so many AMAZING people . . . whether in the wedding industry, events, or portraits . . . there are some unbelievable vendors out there and I’d like to share a few of my favorites!!!
I wanted to start with the talented Kelly Meyer of Kelly Meyer Events! I first met Kelly about two years ago and it had nothing to do with weddings or photography, but our kids were in the same kindergarten class together. We soon realized that we had several friends in common and well, we just really hit it off!!! We’ve planned some fun things together . . . styled shoots, showers, class parties, and hopefully some more in the future!!! I love when you meet someone and you already think alike!!! That’s Kelly!!!
Aside from being my dear friend, she is UNBELIEVABLY talented and creative and I really just wanted to share her with you all!!!
Here she is in her own words.
MCP: Tell me about yourself and what you do as an event planner:
Kelly: “I've been an event planner for 13 years, my background is in Media/Public Relations, Non-Profit Fundraisers and Communications. I'm a TROJAN, mom of three, and currently live in Santa Clarita. As an event planner, I help organize and create fabulous social events from start to finish.”
MCP: What sort of events might you plan or coordinate?
Kelly: “The majority of events I produce are weddings, but they are all different and unique. From a black tie affair at a five star resort to an intimate soiree at a private estate, I really enjoy creating events that reflect the bride and groom. I love being able to take their vision and then add in more layers of beauty and creativity.”
MCP: What's your favorite part of event planning?
Kelly: “Definitely the lasting relationships that I build with my wonderful clients, their families and friends and being able to see them enjoy the finished product on the wedding day.”
