Aaron and Nicole Wedding | Newhall Mansion | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

I know, I know . . . this is LONG!  Oh well!!  Yesterday, Aaron and Nicole got MARRIED!!!  Yeahhhh!!!  It was a GORGEOUS day, full of love!!!  There is little sweeter than seeing two people profess their love for one another!  I  simply LOVE the way Aaron looks at Nicole . . . he is a man IN LOVE!!!  She has a continual smile on her face and I KNOW that much of that is because of Aaron!!! They are about as different as two can be . . . she’s bubbly and outgoing, a teacher, overflowing with positivity . . .  he’s a bit more reserved, an engineer, a thrill-seeker, and a man’s man.  They are opposite in all of the right ways!  They appreciate the differences in one another and simply make one another better people.  The pastor asked them to share 5 things that they loved about one another and I’ll never forget one of the things Aaron said, “she makes me want to be a better man!” . . . is it ok for the photographer to be crying in the bushes? I hope so, I was!

I met Miss Bennett, aka Nicole, three years ago when she became my daughter, Lily’s, kindergarten teacher! She was beautiful, young, and so fun . . . Lily was in HEAVEN!!!  I’m the VERY involved parent and spent many hot august days in her classroom helping out and avoiding the heat waiting for my older daughter to be dismissed (ridiculous that there are different dismissal times . . . anyways) . . . the more time I spent in her room and with her, the more I loved her.  She has a true passion for teaching and for her students!!! She is EXCELLENT at what she does!! Lily would share, every so often, about Mr. Aaron and I could tell that she was a wee bit twitter-patted (bambi reference).   It was at the end of the year party where I first saw him and  could tell from that moment he was HOOKED!!  Earlier this year they were my models for a styled shoot I did at The Newhall Mansion . . . check it out HERE.   Just one short week later Aaron was down on one knee in the mountains of Washington, surrounded by his family, asking Nicole to be his bride!!!!  I remember I was shooting a sweet newborn, came by to my phone to find 30 missed text messages . . . scrolled up to see  A RING!!!!!!!!!!!  So thrilled!!!

I am honored and thrilled that they asked me to capture their day!!! It was a beautiful celebration of their love!!!  Here are a few images from their day . . . the full gallery is to come!!!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hale!!

maximus jagger | newborn | los angeles photographer

I love when I get to start my day off with a precious newborn!  It makes me yearn for the days when my sweet girls were little!

Today I met Maximus Jagger and what a cutie he is!!! He was probably one of the easiest babies . . . he loved being swaddled, was happy, and seemed to enjoy the sound of my camera clicking away! Seriously, he was calmed by it! That’s my kind of baby!!!  I met Mia, Max’s mama, about three years ago and have had the privilege of photographing his brother and sister every Christmas since then! They are a fun family and completely smitten with this little guy!!!  Here’s a quick preview.  Many more to come!
